I’ve blogged in the past about Monster energy drink overtaking Red Bull and more recently about energy drinks overtaking bottled water.

Now I see that Mountain Dew has overtaken Coca-Cola in convenience stores during the first half of 2012.

Who says nothing much changes in mature markets ?  These changes are momentous.
