Beverage manufacturers want to know that the water they use is of the highest quality. This is partly covered by ensuring adequate source protection, but is important to understand the natural quality and how this might change during and after water abstraction. Zenith International has wide-ranging expertise in assessing the suitability of water for premium uses such as bottled water and understanding the impacts of the pollution of groundwater.

Where the water is being used untreated, such as in a natural mineral water or spring water, the impact of water abstraction on both the chemical and microbiological quality is critical. Zenith is the world leader in developing supplies for high quality and high value use.

Where treatment is allowed, Zenith can design and oversee installation of plant to ensure potable water treatment is carried out to the highest standards.

Ensuring sufficient water is available

Manufacturers also want to know the volume available. During source management, aquifer testing will have been undertaken to understand the groundwater flow and to ensure the volume abstracted is sustainable. After a period of time, this volume may reduce and Zenith has experience in applying the many methods for improving the well yield and maintaining volume.
