The Spanish bottled water market is the 11th largest in the world, growing by 1.6% in 2011 to reach 7.5 billion litres. Last year, economic pressures led to  modern retail and discount outlets gaining share over bars and restaurants, with sales of larger still water sizes increasing by 7.5%.

Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia and Spain’s second largest city. Of Roman origin, many of its landmarks are designated World Heritage Sites including Gaudi’s famous and still unfinished Sagrada Familia.
