Now in its 9th year, the Global Bottled Water Congress is designed for industry leaders, suppliers, customers and analysts to gain a complete overview of the latest trends and thinking across all continents from top companies in each region, with extensive time for informal networking and discussion.

The Spanish bottled water market is the 11th largest in the world, growing by 1.6% in 2011 to reach 7.5 billion litres. Last year, economic pressures led to modern retail and discount outlets gaining share over bars and restaurants, with sales of larger still water sizes increasing by 7.5%.

One of the world’s most important tourist destinations, the city also has a long sporting tradition and hosted the 1992 Olympics.
