Site investigation design and management
The ability of a geothermal scheme to service a given building energy load is determined principally by the flow rate achieved from the boreholes and the hydraulic properties of the aquifer.
Since neither of these factors can be quantified reliably until boreholes have been drilled on the site, it is often advisable on larger schemes to drill test boreholes (which will become part of the final scheme if successful) as part of an investigation phase. To this end, we offer the following site investigation services:
